sonnet 5

plenty of coin in that fountain
is the refrain you keep on hearing
sesame to the mountain
wearing a golden earring
zig and zag you wander
every panorama
as you get fonder
of any drama
the welcome is all
and by your leave a lode
the friendship thrall
or story ode
ignoring coin
as loin

I like the sexual, slightly sleazy symbolism of “plenty of coin in that fountain” referred to at the end by “loin” (great rhyme).
